This week is a lot. There is a heads-up day for March 3, as we have Venus square Uranus. We’ll be feeling this transit build all week and it could be a rocky one. We’ve also got a lot of push and pull with both Saturn and Jupiter transits, which are very opposite of each other. Saturn is all about staying on task, on climbing your mountain, focusing, and maintaining boundaries. Jupiter on the other hand, just wants to expand and grow. To learn and explore. To be curious and try new things and have faith that it will all work out in the end.
So if you find yourself oscillating between these two extremes this week, it’s no surprise. Just do your best to ride the wave with your self-care routines as guideposts and anchors. Even if you just pick three quick self-care activities for your day - one to being your day, one as a midpoint check-in, and one to end your day - that will help you feel more stable as we move through this energy.
For me, I plan on journaling in the morning, stretching in the middle of the day (it feels so good after all that sitting!), and wrapping my day up with washing my face and actually using the new skin care items I got instead of just throwing some moisturizer on and calling it done.
Some other quick self-care activities you may want to try:
-taking a walk around your house/yard/building
-meditating
-pulling a tarot or oracle card
-singing a song
-humming (great for soothing your nervous system)
-doing a craft: watercolors, drawing, making a collage, playing with clay or playdough
On to the week ahead!
Monday, February 26: The Moon goes Void at 2:35 am until it enters Libra at 9:29 am. All folks don’t use Void Moons, and it’s totally up to you if you want to or not, but if you do the main ‘rule’ is that Void Moons are like a cosmic time out. They’re great for self-care and finishing up tasks already begun, but try to steer clear of beginning anything new. Once the Moon enters Libra, it's a great time to have discussions where you need to reach some kind of agreement or partnership, or conversations where compromise is needed. The Moon in Libra also loves indulging in beauty, so hit up a play or go look at some flowers. Also today, the Moon trines Pluto at 11:47 am, which can increase our emotional and intuitive sensitivity for a couple of hours.
