How has the past week been for you? For myself, and many I’ve talked to, the past week has been pretty intense, as we’ve been building up to the Solar Eclipse on Monday. This eclipse is conjunct Chiron, so it’s bringing something to light that needs healing - which can often feel uncomfortable. For more on the eclipse, here is my post with horoscopes.
On to the week ahead!
Monday, April 8: Today is our New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries, exact at 2:21 pm. Typically an Aries New Moon is all about springing to life and taking action. Aries energy bursts upon the scene with a roar of flames that is not easily extinguished. But this New Moon is right alongside Chiron, bringing an opportunity for healing. We also have the Sun conjunct Chiron at 2:28 pm. This transit illuminates (the Sun) your wounds (Chiron), especially those that have become ingrained and more like habits. Patterns that are holding you back are more likely to be noticeable now. The Moon goes Void at 10:39 pm until tomorrow. All folks don’t use Void Moons, and it’s totally up to you if you want to or not, but if you do the main ‘rule’ is that Void Moons are like a cosmic time out. They’re great for self-care and finishing up tasks already begun, but try to steer clear of beginning anything new.
