We’ve got a big week up ahead. Things are more quiet during the first half of the week, with the end of the week through the weekend being one major transit after another. And one of those transits is rare - Jupiter conjunct Uranus, which happens every 12 years. This is a moment of abrupt change and upheaval that will reverberate over the next decade.
On to the week ahead!
Monday, April 15: Today may be a little tricky, due to Mercury conjunct Chiron at 11:23 am. With this transit, words can be used to hurt and heal. It’s up to you to choose. This could show up as a situation where you have a disagreement with someone, or someone says words that hurt you. Even if it’s only a split second, you do have a choice as to if you respond with compassion or aim to hurt the other person. This is a lesson we all face from time to time, and we don’t always get it right! That’s the beauty of astrology, we’re presented with these lessons over and over again. There is no need to beat yourself up for getting something “wrong”. Own it, apologize if needed, and use the experience to remind you of what choices align with your values for the next time.
We also have the First Quarter Moon in Cancer at 3:13 pm. You may or may not have set an intention at last week’s New Moon, since it was an eclipse. If you did, this is a good time to begin taking action steps towards that intention. If you didn’t, you can use this energy to build momentum for a broader goal, such as your yearly or seasonal goal. The Moon goes Void at 7:22 pm until it enters Leo at 10:24 pm. All folks don’t use Void Moons, and it’s totally up to you if you want to or not, but if you do the main ‘rule’ is that Void Moons are like a cosmic time out. They’re great for self-care and finishing up tasks already begun, but try to steer clear of beginning anything new. Once the Moon enters Leo, our collective emotional focus turns to play, pleasure and creativity.
